2016 Oscar Nominations – Leading the pack was the Leonardo DiCaprio flick Revenant, which took 12 nominations including ones for Best Picture and Best Actor. And 39 years after his own nomination for Rocky, Sylvester Stallone received a nod for his work in Creed, playing the same character Rocky Balboa.
Chipotle Closing All Stores on February 8 for Food Safety Meeting – As part of a new marketing campaign to counteract the recent news of E. Coli, Salmonella, and norovirus, the restaurant chain is announcing plans to close all stores for a few hours on February 8th in order to discuss food safety measures.
Walmart and Macy’s Closing Stores – Reflecting the current state of the retail marketplace, two of America’s largest retailers are shuttering hundreds of stores. Walmart plans to close 269 stores, and Macy’s plans to close 40 stores this year.
